HOMELESS COMMUNITY
We are committed to supporting the homeless community by offering complimentary grooming services. By providing haircuts to those in need, we aim to restore dignity and self-confidence to individuals experiencing homelessness.
We travel to local shelters and will set up 6-8 week rotations with their residents.
FOOD AND CLOTHING DRIVES

A heartfelt initiative to support individuals and families in need within our community. Your generous donations of non-perishable food items and gently used clothing can make a significant difference in the lives of those facing hardship. Together, we can help stock pantries, provide warm clothing for the colder months, and bring hope to those who need it most.

COMMUNITY EVENTS
We passionately engage in community events, extending our reach and graciously offering our services to those who may face barriers. Through local initiatives, we strive to make a tangible difference on a larger scale, inspiring hope and positive changes.
My family's favorite is volunteering for a weekend and decorating the local cemeteries with the American Flag on all the Veterans gravestones. My kids truly enjoy it, and we get to slide in the History lessons too!
YOUTH PROGRAMS
Empowering the youth begins with empowering their caregivers. At Shear Gratitude, we offer low-cost engaging hands-on hairstyling workshops to equip parents with the skills and knowledge to style their children's hair confidentially, fostering a positive and uplifting environment for the next generation.
You'll even leave with your own personal Swag Bag of goodies to do the new hair styles at home!

To bridge this gap, we've designed outreach programs that are designed to reach individuals who may be unable to access traditional salon services. SUPPORT NETWORK
Having a strong support network is essential for personal growth, resilience, and overall well-being. Building such a network involves identifying people who align with your values, maintaining open communication, and nurturing these relationships with mutual care and respect. Together, we rise! We understand the importance of a strong support system. Shear Gratitude Inc collaborates with other non-profit organizations and support networks to create a comprehensive approach in assisting our communities. Collectively, we will create a powerhouse of resources and uplift our communities.
RESUME WORKSHOPS AND MOCK INTERVIEWS
Shear Gratitude hosts engaging and practical Resume Workshop and Mock Interview Sessions, at local shelters, designed to help them stand out in today's competitive job market! This event will guide participants through crafting a professional, tailored resume that highlights their unique skills and accomplishments. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to practice interview techniques in a supportive, mock setting, receiving personalized feedback to boost their confidence and readiness.
